EV Powertrain Lead

If you're not familiar with Formula SAE, here's a quick explanation:

Formula SAE is a design engineering competition hosted by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) in which colleges from across the world compete with student-built race cars on metrics of design engineering practices and real-world performance. 

Since late 2023, I've had the pleasure of growing into our team's EV Powertrain lead role where I've gained multidisciplinary knowledge on packaging, cell choice, motor control, drive line, PCB assembly and testing, and firmware integration. Below are some key projects I've completed thus far. Our car currently uses a 72s8p configuration of 18650 LG HE2 cells to provide 62kW of peak power to a Cascadia PM100DX inverter driving a Emrax 208MV for 55kW output at the wheels.
